on the road to oman

Last month I had to go to Oman through Hatta, UAE to renew my visa.
It took us about 2 hours from JBR(Dubai Marina) to the UAE, Oman border.
Here people call it a 'visa run'.
UAE visa rule has changed last year and you'd get only 30days stamp as you enter the UAE, you have to either extend the visa or renew before it expires.
Extending visa costs Dhs 500 and waiting time , for the Visa run, less than Dhs 100 and gas and time.
Anyway, we did visa run and got a chance to get a glimpse of outside of Dubai and the Sultanate of Oman.
It was quite journey, we saw SANDS,, dune, camel, and rocky mountains, yep.
The hardest part in the journey was toilette,,
It's been 2 months in Dubai,, I only used good hotels' , other places,, forget it! terrible.
Luckily, I don't need the Visa Run anymore, 3days later I got my residence visa.

Oman stamp on my passport. We actually drove to the Sohar city in Oman.

Sohar,,, do you remember the animation the sailor Sindbad? yeah,, it's his birth place.

Well,, It was understandable WHY he'd left Sohar looking for some adventures in such an early age.
